This work-in-progress is ‘Peel’, a Gill Sans-esque webfont, based on early specimens of the standard Gill Sans and then derivating into forms of it’s own. Peel is an experiment in creating a webfont as a ‘surrogate’; how can a type ‘face’ be carried into another, technically different and separate, font?
