‘Trocchi’ is a design for a new webfont, derived from a number of old faces from the English typecutter Vincent Figgins (1766-1844) including Nebiolo’s ‘Egiziano’, and Caslon & Co’s ‘Antique No.4′ and ‘Ionic No.2′. ‘Trocchi’ is the working title for this new slab serif face based loosely on some Nebiolo and Stephenson Blake slab serifs. Should be available on Google webfonts within three weeks.
